Laboratory Course Requirements
1.Before entering the laboratory,
it is mandatory to wear a lab coat and safety goggles. Those who do not
comply with these regulations will not be allowed to enter the laboratory.
Removing goggles during an experiment will result in a deduction of 3 points
from the overall grade.
2.Entering the laboratory in
shorts, skirts, flip-flops, or sandals is strictly prohibited. Individuals
with long hair must tie it up; failure to comply will result in a deduction
of 3 points from the overall grade.
3.Being punctual to the
laboratory is essential. Being late to class results in a deduction of 3
points from the overall grade. If a student is 30 minutes late, they will
not be allowed to participate in the experiment, resulting in a zero score
for that particular experiment.
4.Leave requests must be
processed according to school regulations. For personal leave, students must
provide proof and discuss rescheduling with the teaching assistant in
advance. Failure to comply will result in a zero score for that particular
experiment. Sick leave can be requested retroactively.
5.Individuals are responsible for cleaning their respective workstations and
sinks. Failure to fulfill this responsibility will result in a deduction of
0.5 points from the overall grade for each occurrence.
6.For those
who plagiarize in the experiment report, the score for that report will be
divided by the number of plagiarizers. For late submissions, the score for
that report will be multiplied by 0.5; if the submission is delayed by more
than two days, the score will be zero.
9.Experiments must be completed within the specified time frame. There will
be no extension for those who fail to finish within the allocated time.
However, students may make up for the experiment before the end of the
semester.
