【Before the
Experiment】
1.Open doors and windows.
2.Prepare distilled water and obtain ice.
3.Distribute reports.
4.Check the first aid kit, fire extinguisher, and other
safety equipment.
【During the Experiment】
1.Monitor the usage of washing acetone, distilled
water, and ice, and replenish as needed.
2.If the floor is wet, mop it dry to prevent any
accidental slips or falls.
【After the Experiment】
1.Check and close all switches for gas, faucets, ovens,
rotary evaporators, water baths, and cooling
circulators. Collect all washing solvent bottles and
graduated cylinders, pour waste liquids into the waste
container.
2.Clean the sink (including the central drainage
groove), return acetone, dishwashing detergent, test
tube brushes, and cloths to their designated positions.
Clean the filter screen, organize the hairdryer, and
tidy up the corridor storage cabinet, including drink
cans and trash.
3.Organize the fume hood platform, securely lock the
lids of chemical containers, clean up any spills, rinse
pipettes, and wipe the fume hood and lab platforms.
4.Organize the balance room: brush away any solid
chemicals outside the weighing area, wipe off any
chemicals accidentally spilled on the balance, wipe the
balance cabinet and platform, turn off the balance
switch, sweep and mop the balance room.
5.Sweep and mop the floor inside the laboratory.
6.Close and lock all windows, back doors, and windows
near the corridor along Technology Road, and take out
the classified garbage to the garbage cart.
7.After being inspected and approved by the teaching
assistant (or assistant TA), sign out following the
evaluation.
